Urban Fitness Outdoor SA Membership Terms and Conditions December 2014

 The terms and conditions apply to all Urban Fitness Outdoor SA members.

Group Class and RunFlex Membership

  • Memberships are month-to-month, automatically renewing memberships and are paid for in advance on or before the last day of every month for the following month.
  • All package amendments, cancellations, and pauses must be done in advance and in writing on or before the 20th of the month prior to the month you wish to amend, pause or cancel. If amendments are not made before the 20th, the package is automatically renewed.
  • Memberships run from the first day of the month to the last day of the month.
  • Memberships may not be transferred to another individual or organisation.
  • Memberships may not be carried forward to the next month or any other month.
  • Urban Fitness Outdoor SA Group Class memberships run separate from all other services offered at Urban Fitness Outdoor SA.
  • Members can attend Group Classes and RunFlex classes at all venues and times where classes are offered. This does not include Personal Training or Health and Lifestyle Coaching clients.
  • Class venues and times can be viewed at www.urbanfitness.co.za/venues-times.
  • If a member exceeds the number of classes allotted to their selected package, the system with automatically add an extra class to the members account at the going rate of a single class.
  • All the above membership terms apply.

Cancellation, pausing or upgrading of a  Group Class, Cycling Club or Running Club membership

  • All package changes, package suspensions, or package cancellations must be made on or before the 20th of the month prior to the month you wish to amend, pause or cancel.
  • Any member wanting to cancel their membership must email accounts@urbanfitness.co.za on or before the 20th of the month prior to the month you wish to cancel. If an email notification is not sent to accounts@urbanfitness.co.za within the required period the membership will be automatically renewed and payment will be required.
  • All changes, suspensions or cancellations on non-monthly packages i.e 10 Pack must be sent through to accounts@urbanfitness.co.za, 10 days before the package expires. If no notification is sent through the package will automatically renew for the period.
  • Any amendments and cancellations must be forwarded to the accounts department in writing to accounts@urbanfitness.co.za before the required notice period.
  • Upgrades on packages can be done at any point during the month.

Payment

  • Memberships can be paid from either by Direct Debit, Credit Card or EFT.
  • Instructors will not accept cash, unless due to prior arrangement.
  • If memberships are not paid for the member will not be granted access to a class, unless arrangement has been made with Urban Fitness Outdoor SA Accounts.
  • Please note that all returned debit orders will result in a R50.00 penalty that will be charged to your next debit order.
  • All EFT Payments need to be made by the 1st of the month or the member will not be allowed access to any service provided by Urban Fitness Outdoor SA until payment is made.
  • Pricing is fixed and any changes in pricing will be sent via email to you by Urban Fitness Outdoor SA. All pricing is subject to an annual increase at the discretion of Urban Fitness Outdoor SA.
Personal Training Membership
  • Personal training sessions are booked and paid for upfront.
  • Personal training sessions must be used between the first day and the last day of the month.
  • Personal training session may not be carried over to the next month or transferred to another member.
  • Personal training sessions missed by the client for any reason whatsoever will only be made up at the trainers discretion.
  • 30 days notice must be giving when cancelling Personal Training sessions.
  • A minimum of 6 personal training sessions a month must be booked by the client.

Refunds

  • No refunds will be giving unless on error on the part of Urban Fitness Outdoor SA.

Cycling and Running Club Membership

  • Urban Fitness Outdoor SA Club memberships run separate from all other services offered at Urban Fitness Outdoor SA.
  • Yearly membership fees are paid for in advance for the year.
  • Cycling and Running club memberships run from the 1st of January to the 31st of December and are renewed on an annual basis.
  • At least 10 (ten) working days, before the debit order date selected, are required to make any necessary amendments to the debit order amount and 10 (ten) days notice is required to cancel the membership and/or debit order with Urban Fitness Outdoor SA.
  • Any amendments and cancellations must be forwarded to the accounts department in writing to accounts@urbanfitness.co.za.
  • Refunds are not given other than in case of error on our part.
  • Memberships may not be carried over or transferred to another person.
